I just got a nice message that my account would be completely wiped if I didn't lock back in and post. As a lifetime member somehow I feel I'm entitled to keep my account without having to log on for maintenance, given that the reason I purchased the upgrade instead of keeping the free account was to make sure it stayed around "forever". I understand cleaning up the inactive FREE accounts, but I find it insulting that just because someone might want the initials "VDD" as their username, I might lose my account which I paid $100 specifically for the purpose of keeping.

The only time I ever want to hear about something like this again is if Xanga is shutting down for inability to keep up with costs.

Way to go, Xanga. I now severely regret having become a "lifetime" member.
